Summer registrations Over 3,500 places to get active this summer in Brossard

BROSSARD, May 26, 2025 – The City of Brossard is launching its summer programming and inviting residents to start planning their summer now with a diverse range of sports and aquatic activities, accessible to children, teenagers, and adults. With over 3,500 spots available, the 2026 summer session offers a wide selection of registered activities, in addition to drop-in activities at various locations throughout the city to help everyone enjoy the warmer weather.

Registration for residents will begin on Tuesday, June 2nd, according to the following schedule:

  • 6 p.m.: swimming lessons for preschoolers, children and teenagers;
  • 6:30 p.m .: Aquatic fitness classes, adult swimming, lifesaving and teaching courses, outdoor fitness and wellness classes, and pickleball leagues.

Registration for non-residents will take place on Saturday, June 6, starting at 9 a.m. , depending on remaining places.

Full details regarding programming and registration are available online now.

Rescue and teaching courses are now offered with a fee.

Since the government subsidy that allowed these courses to be offered temporarily free of charge has ended, fees will again apply to rescue and aquatic teaching courses.

Those wishing to register for these courses must present their proof of qualification at the aquatic complex between May 20th and June 1st .

A summer program for all ages

This summer, residents can enjoy a diverse program designed for all ages and paces. Several activities are offered in parks and various locations throughout the city, encouraging exploration and physical activity close to home.

Among the new offerings is the Dynamic Movement course , available at the Grand Urban Park pavilion. This activity combines cardio, muscle strengthening, mobility, and stretching in an accessible and energizing format, ideal for getting active outdoors.

The City is also enhancing its offering of free activities available throughout the summer. Rain or shine, there are plenty of ways to get active in Brossard. The Multigenerational Centre, in particular, stands out as a gathering place for families and friends to enjoy pickleball, badminton, or basketball, while also discovering other active spaces across the city.

Six outdoor swimming pools to enjoy the summer

With six outdoor pools now spread across the area, residents have even more opportunities to cool off and stay active all summer long, close to home. Regular pool openings are scheduled to begin on June 20 , with a possible pre-season depending on weather conditions.
