His Higness Ambassador Imam Allama Ahsan Siddiqui extends warm Thanksgiving wishes to all Canadians in Canada and around the world.

CANADA : The significance of Thanksgiving lies in expressing gratitude for the year’s blessings, a tradition rooted in historical harvest celebrations and religious observances that have evolved into a secular holiday for families to gather, share meals, and strengthen bonds. Life reminds us to value even the things we overlook. The beauty of life lies in its simplest, most natural moments.

Thanksgiving also holds deep spiritual meaning, offering a time for introspection and acknowledging a relationship with God or the divine for many. On this special day we are celebrate the blessings, the love and the joy thankful to our dedicated family, friends, colleagues in Canada and around the globe.

We give thanks for the peace of mind that comes with being here the safety, the opportunities, grateful hearts, full plates, and cherished moments.
Canada is perfect, but we’re a strong and free democracy that believes in religious freedom, human rights, equality and the rule of law. Today, we’re not just thankful for the feast — but for the life this country allows us to build.

This Thanksgiving, we’re taking a moment to appreciate the trust, support, and connections that make our journey meaningful. Grateful for every lesson, every challenge, and every blessing that brought us this far. Thanksgiving reminds us to pause and give thanks to God for His countless blessings. Blessed to live in Canada, a place of freedom, peace and opportunity.

The Interfaith Commssion for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) would like to take this time to wish everyone in Canada and Canadians around the world a Happy Thanksgiving. We wish everyone a happy Canadian Thanksgiving wonderful day filled with gratitude, laughter and moments of togetherness with loved ones. From ICPH to hope, we’ve learned resilience, faith, and hard work truly pay off. May gratitude fill our hearts today and always. God is good all the time.

Happy Thanksgiving to all Canadians!
