The Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony ({ICPH} and International Religious Freedom Roundtable for Pakistan {IRF Pakistan} cherish the spirit of unity and celebrate cultural diversity, believing in inclusivity and the well-being of all.
Ambassador at Large for Global Peace, Human Rights & Interfaith Harmony Imam Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui, Chairman, Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony {ICPH} and Co-Chair, International Religious Freedom Roundtable for Pakistan {IRF Pakistan} while extending congratulations to Pakistani Sikh community and the global Sikh community and everyone a Happy Vaisakhi. The Chairman ICPH said that we join with millions of Sikh from around world to celebrate Vaisakhi and this day holds special significance in the Sikh and Hindu traditions, a day when Sikhs celebrate the forming of their collective around the values of equality, selfless service, sovereignty, high spirits, and universal community.
Ambassador Imam Allama Ahsan Siddiqui said that Vaisakhi festival is a time of great joy, unity, community, and resilience. , he said festivals come with the message of a new beginning, new season and happiness for all. He said on the occasion of Vaisakhi, may your life be as colorful and joyful as the festival itself. We celebrate the timeless message of love and of standing together in building stronger and safer communities, joy, solidarity, and compassion, regardless of creed or background. Imam Allama Ahsan Siddiqui said that Happy to see a large number of Sikhs gathering { Yatrees } coming to Pakistan from around the world for Baisakhi Vaisakhi, celebration. He said that bringing Indian Sikhs to Pakistan for the Vaisakhi Mela is a heartwarming display of love, cultural exchange and religious harmony. He said that wonderful arrangements reflected the dedication of both nations to ensuring a memorable and peaceful pilgrimage experience for the visitors. It reflects the spirit of hospitality and cultural harmony.
The Co –Chair IRF Pakistan Imam Allama Ahsan Siddiqui said that we wish the Indian government would follow Pakistan to show a similar gesture to facilitate Pakistani pilgrims interested in visiting holy sites located across the border. The Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony {ICPH} and Co-Chair, International Religious Freedom Roundtable for Pakistan {IRF Pakistan} Ambassador Imam Allama Ahsan Siddiqui said that we appreciated arrangements by the Government of Pakistan for hosting the Vaisakhi Mela and making arrangements for the Sikh pilgrims is truly commendable.
The Chairman ICPH Allama Ahsan said Islam gives equal rights to the minorities and our Constitution grants minorities equal participation in all walks of life. He said that the need for promoting inter-faith harmony and working hand-in-hand for the development and prosperity of the country. He said that The rights and privileges enjoyed by all minorities in Pakistan will be fully safeguarded by the Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) according to the Constitution and guiding principles of Founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
The ICPH Chairman also acknowledged and appreciated the services of Non-Muslim community’s Sikh community in various fields and economic development of Pakistan. Pakistan’s Sikh community is making an extraordinary and invaluable contribution to the life of this country, continuing to make a crucial contribution to, including religious harmony, economically, education, and social welfare socially and culturally, and to so many others, just as it has always done. He also urged the Sikh community to serve all their energies in the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
