The Government of Pakistan, under the directives of the Honorable Prime Minister, has established Special Courts for Overseas Pakistanis in Islamabad under the Special Courts (Overseas Pakistanis Property) Act, 2024 to ensure expeditious resolution of disputes relating to immovable property. Similarly, the Punjab Establishment of Special Courts (Overseas Pakistanis Property) Act, 2025 has been passed to arrange legal mechanisms across the province while similar initiatives are in progress in other provinces and regions of Pakistan.
