چترال کے قصبے تحصیل دروش کے تاریحی سکول گورنمنٹ پرایمری سکول دروش میں ہیلو تاس اور محکمہ تعلیم کے اشتراک سے سرکاری سکولوں میں داخلہ مہم کے سلسلے میں ایک آگاہی واک نکالا گیا۔ یہ سکول ۱۹۳۸ کو وجود میں آیا تھا جس نے ایک صدی میں بڑے بڑے نامور شحصیات کو زیور تعلیم سے آراستہ کیا ہے۔ یہ واک اس تاریحی تعلیمی ادارے سے نکل کر دروش کے پرانے بازار اور پھر نیے بازار میں سے ہوکر دروش چوک میں ایک تقریب کی شکل احتیار کی گیی۔ واک کی قیادت فیلڈ آفیسر اظہر اقبال، ڈی ای اوچترال، اے ڈی ای او لوییر چترال، قاری جمال ناصر، سابق چیرمین ڈسٹرکٹ کونسل الحاج خورشید علی خان، صدر تاجر یونین دروش حاجی گل نواز، ویلیج کونسل دامیل چیرمین شیر زمین، پرنسپل گورنمنٹ ہاییر سیکنڈری سکول دروش سلیم کامل، سکول کے ہیڈ ماسٹر اورتاجر یونین کے اراکین، سماجی کارکنان کے علاوہ کثیر تعداد میں سکولوں کے طلباء نے شرکت کی۔ طلباء نے ہاتھوں میں بینرز اور پلے کارڈ اٹھارکھے تھے جس پر یہ نعرہ درج تھا کہ علم سب کیلیے۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق ہیلویتاس اور ڈسٹرکٹ ایجوکیشن افس چترال کے اشتراک سے چترال میں داخلہ مہم کا اہتمام کیا گیا ۔ یہ مہم چترال ٹاٶن ٫دروش٫ کیسو اور کلکٹک میں چلایا گیا جسمیں شعبہ تعلیم سے وابستہ افراد کے علاوہ اہل علاقہ نے کثیر تعداد میں شرکت کی۔ تعلیم سب کے لئے کا نعرہ لیکر چلائے جانے والے اس مہم کا مقصد ٥ سال اور اس سے زاید عمر کے بچوں کی سکولوں میں داخلے کو یقینی بنانا تھا۔ تقریب میں اس عزم کا اظہار کیا گیا کہ ہر بچے کو زیور تعلیم سے آراستہ کرنے کی یہ مہم جاری رہے گی۔ تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہویے شرکاء نے والدین پر زور دیا کہ وہ اپنے پانچ سال کے عمر تک اپنے بچوں کو ضرور سرکاری سکولوں میں بھیجے۔ ڈسٹرکٹ ایجوکیشن افیسر نے کہا کہ والدین کو چاہیے کہ اپنے بچوں کو ضرور کسی بھی سکول بھیجے تاکہ وہ تعلیم سے محروم نہ رہے۔ وی سی چیرمین حاجی شیر زمین نے اس بات پر افسوس کا اظہار کیا کہ تعلیمی سال شروع ہوچکا ہے اور چار ماہ گزرنے کے بعد بھی سرکاری سکولوں میں ابھی تک مفت کتابیں نہیں بھیجے گیی ہیں جس کی وجہ سے بچوں کا قیمتی وقت ضایع ہوتا ہے ایک طرف حکومت لوگوں پر زور دے رہی ہے کہ وہ اپنے بچوں کو سرکاری سکولوں میں بھیجے جبکہ دوسری جانب سرکاری سکولوں میں چار ماہ گزرنے کے باوجود ابھی تک مفت کتابیں دستیاب نہِیں ہیں تو بچوں کو کیسے معیاری تعلیم دلاسکیں گے۔
تاجر یونین حاجی گل نواز، الحاج خورشید علی خان، اظہار اقبال اور دیگر نے بھی اس موقع پر اظہار حیال کیا۔ داخلہ مہم کے سلسلے میں آگاہی واک اور تقریب کیلیے اس تاریحی سکول کو اس لییے منتحب کیا گیا کہ یہ ۱۹۳۸ کو وجود میں آیا تھا اور اس سکول میں پڑھنے والے طالب علم بیرون ممالک میں سفیر، چیف سیکرٹری، ڈاکٹر، پروفیسر، سول، فوجی اور پولیس افسران بھی ان میں شامل ہیں۔ اس کا مقصد بچوں کو اس طرف راغب کرنا تھا کہ اگر وہ بھی دل لگاکر شوق سے سبق پڑھے تو بڑے ہوکر وہ بھی بڑا آدمی بن سکتا ہے۔ پروگرام آحر میں اسی سکول میں اسسٹنٹ ایجوکیشن افیسر انعام اللہ نے چند بچوں کو داخل کراکے مہم کا باقاعدہ آغاز کروایا۔
CHITRAL: An awareness walk function held in a series of enrolment campaign in the government schools in collaboration with Helotas and Education department. This walk was held at historical Government Primary School Drosh established in 1938. This school was established a century ago which has educated the most famous people of Chitral. The walk was started from this historical educational institution and passes through old bazaar of Drosh and then enter in new Bazaar, which was converted in a function at Drosh Chowk. The walk was led by Field Officer Azhar Iqbal, DEO Chitral, ADEO Lower Chitral, Qari Jamal Nasir, former Chairman District Council Alhaj Khurshid Ali Khan, President Trader Union Drosh Haji Gul Nawaz, Village Council Damil Chairman Haji Sher Zamin, Principal Government Higher Secondary School Drosh Saleem Kamil, headmaster of the school and members of trade Union, social workers, as well as a large number of students attended. Students were carrying banners and play cards in their hands, which listened to the slogan that knowledge was for all.
Besides it enrolment campaign were also held in different parts of lower Chitral by Helvetas in collaboration with Education Department Chitral. The campaign was attended by a large number of people involved in the Chitral Town, Kaisu and Kalkatak, in addition to the education department. The campaign, which was chanting slogans that education for everyone, was aimed at ensuring the enrollment of children in schools upto 5 years and more. Azhar Iqbal said that they also trying of their best to enrolled children of Afghan refugees living in different camps at lower chitral. Addressing to the ceremony, the participants urged the parents to send their children to schools by the age of five years. The District Education Officer said that parents should send their children to any school so that they do not deprived from education. VC Chairman Haji Sher Zamin expressed his concern that the academic year had started and after four months, free books have not yet been sent to Govt schools, which causes children’s valuable time to waste. On the other hand, the government is urging people to send their children to Govt schools, but even after four months in these schools, free books are not available yet, how can they give quality education to children?
President Trade Union Drosh Haji Gul Nawaz, Alhaj Khurshid Ali Khan, Azhar Iqbal and others also expressed their views on the occasion. In connection of enrolment campaign, walk and function was held this school which was in 1938. A large number of students studying in this school achieved highest position even they serves as Ambassador of Pakistan in foreign countries, Chief Secretary, Doctor, Professor, Civil, military and police officers are also among them. The purpose of holding function in this school was to attract attention of children that if they also with great enthusiasm, they could grow up and become a high officer. Assistant Education Officer Inamullah enrolled some children in this school.
