High Commissioner Muhammad Saleem attended an interactive session with mostly Ottawa-based engineering professionals and alumni of Pakistan’s Universities of Engineering and Technology (UET) on September 23, 2026. The participants included alumni of UET Lahore, Peshawar and Taxila. Hon. MPAslam Rana, a UET Lahore alumnus, was the Chief Guest.
Appreciating the immense contribution of Pakistan-origin professionals in Canada in the socio-economic development, High Commissioner exchanged ideas on the potential for enhancing Pakistan-Canada collaboration in the engineering and other hi-tech sectors.
