وادی آرکاری کے سڑک سے برف صاف کرتے وقت ایکسکیویٹر آپریٹر جان بحق۔ والدین کا اکلوتا کفیل فوت ہونے پر امداد کی اپیل۔

چترال: وادی آرکاری کی سڑک سے برف ہٹاتے وقت ایک اپریٹر جان بحق ہوا۔ جاں بحق ہونے والا اپریٹر بوڑھے والدین سمیت پورے خاندان کا واحد کفیل تھا۔ متاثرہ خاندان نے حکومت سے امداد کی اپیل کی ہے۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق امیر ولد غلام شاہ جو ایک نجی ایکسکیویٹر کا آپریٹر تھا ارکاری کی سڑک سے برف ہٹانے کی عرض سے سڑک پر جارہا تھا دوران کام اسکورٹیر اچانک پھسل جانے کی وجہ سے بمقام شور ارکاری وہ مشین الٹ گیا جس کے نیچے آکر امیر موقع پر جاں بحق ہو گیے۔ مرنے والا والدین کا اکیلا کفالت کرنے والا لڑکا تھا اسکی فوت ہونے کی وجہ سے خاندان شدید متاثر ہو چکا ہے۔ سابق ناظم یونین کونسل شغور عبدالمجید نے ہمارے نمایندے کو فون پر بتایا کہ اس کی درخواست پر ایم پی اے فاتح الملک علی ناصر نے ڈپٹی کمشنر لویر چترال سے کہا تھا کہ وادی آرکاری کی سڑک سے برف ہٹایا جایے تاکہ لوگوں کو آنے جانے میں آسانی ہو۔ اس دوران ایکسکیویٹر مشین اچانک الٹ گیا اور امیر اس کے نیچے آکر جان بحق ہوا۔

عبدالمجید کا کہنا ہے کہ امیر کا والد غلام شاہ جو ایک بیمار آدمی ہے اب اس کیلیے دوای خریدنے والا بھی کوی نہیں رہا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ حالیہ طوفانی بارشوں اور شدید برف باری کے باعث وادی آرکاری بری طرح متاثر ہوی تھی وہاں جانے والے تمام راستے بند تھے۔ خواتین، بچوں، بوڑھوں اور طلباء و طالبات کو سکول، کالج جانے یا لوگوں کو ہسپتال جانے میں نہایت مشکلات کا سامنا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اس وادی میں راستے بند ہونے کی وجہ سے آشیایے خوردنوش کی بھی شدید قلعت پیدا ہوی ہے اور وہاں کے لوگ بری طرح متاثر ہویے ہیں جو حکومتی امداد کے منتظر ہیں۔ عبدالمجید نے وزیر اعلے خیبر پحتون خواہ اور ضلعی انتظامیہ سے اپیل کی ہے کہ وہ مرحوم امیر کے خاندان کے ساتھ مالی امداد کرے اور وادی ارکاری کا راستہ جلد سے جلد کھولنے کے ساتھ ساتھ وہاں امدادی سامان بھی پہنچایا جایے تاکہ لوگ فاقہ کشی کا شکار نہ ہو۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ وادی میں ہسپتال نہ ہونے کی وجہ سے اکثر مریض چترال ہسپتال آنے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں مگر راستے بند ہونے کی وجہ سے یہ لوگ ان برفانی تودوں کے اوپر پیدل سفر کرنے پر مجبور ہیں جو نہایت حطرناک بھی ہے

CHITRAL: An excavator operator died while removing snow from the road in Arkari valley at lower Chitral. The deceased operator was the only source and breadwinner of the entire family including the elderly parents. The victim’s family has appealed to the government for financial support.

According to details, Amir son of Ghulam Shah, who was the operator of a private excavator, was going for work to remove snow from the road of Arkari. The deceased was a young boy who was the only supporter of his parents. Due to his death, the family has been deeply affected. Former Nazim Union Council Shughor Abdul Majeed told our correspondent on phone that on his request, MPA Fatehul Mulk Ali Nasir had asked the Deputy Commissioner Lower Chitral to clear the snow from the road of Arkari so that people can travel easily. On the direction this private excavator machine was engaged for snow clearance from Arkari road. Meanwhile, the excavator machine suddenly overturned and Ameer fell under it and died on the spot.

Abdul Majeed says that Amir’s father Ghulam Shah, who is a sick man, has no one to buy medicine for him. He said that due to the recent torrential rains and heavy snowfall, Arkari valley was badly affected and all the roads leading there were closed. Women, children, old people and students are facing a lot of difficulties in going to school, college or people going to hospital. He said that due to the closure of roads in this valley, food shortages have also occurred and the people there have been badly affected and are waiting for government assistance. Abdul Majeed has appealed to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the district administration to provide financial assistance to the family of the late Amir and to open the road of Arkari as soon as possible and also deliver relief goods there so that people do not suffer from starvation. He said that due to the lack of health facilities including hospital in the valley, most of the patients try to come to Chitral Hospital, but due to the closure of the roads, these people are forced to travel by foot over the avalanches and snowdrifts, which is also very dangerous. He appeal for opening of roads of entire valley of Akari.
