CANADA – Dec 25, 2025, a Prominent Senior Muslim Scholar, the Chairman of Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH), and the Co-Chair Pakistan of International Religious Freedom Roundtable for Pakistan (IRF Pakistan) led by His Eminence Ambassador at Large for Global Peace and Human Rights, Imam Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui extends warm Christmas greetings to the Christian community in Canada, Pakistan and across the world. He said that the Noble Birth of holy Jesus (PBUH) was a blessing for all universe who came to establish Peace, Tolerance and Harmony among Humans around the World.
Ambassador Of Humanity Imam Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui said that our religion Islam teach us to build bridges, foster peace, and cherish our shared humanity. He said that the prophet of Islam Holy Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH ) also came with the same universal message of peace and harmony to human beings and was the strongest symbol of peace and harmony. By welcoming a Christian delegation from Najran to his mosque at Madina ,The prophet of Islam holy Muhammad PBUH set great example of Interfaith harmony, peace, tolerance, love among religions. He said that Christmas spells out love, hope and joy share it on to everyone in your life for the prosperous and peaceful world.
Ambassador Imam Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui said the day of the birth of Jesus is important for Muslims, Christian and,others communities. Muslims and all religions love and adore Jesus Christ, believe in his miraculous birth, healing and second coming. A whole chapter in the Quran, Maryam, is dedicated to Virgin Mary.Muslims often join their Christian neighbors in celebrating Christmas. He said the message of Christmas is to spread the message of peace and prosperity in the world, a symbol of peace, brotherhood and respect to Jesus. He said that the celebration of Christmas in a strong message of unity among Muslims and Christians and to promote love, harmony and religious freedoms. Christmas is a time when barriers are set aside and people come together to celebrate peace, joy, and the shared values of humanity and enrich the festive season but also strengthen the bonds of community and friendship across different faiths. Interfaith Christmas communal participation includes sharing love, meals, exchanging gifts, and sometimes attending church services together. He said that all of us, whatever religion or society we may belong to, must pledge to work for the promotion of interfaith harmony and peace in the world. All divine religions promote love, interfaith harmony, tolerance, peace building and co-existence.
Ambassador Imam Ahsan said Canada is a country where members of all religious denominations have the constitutionally guaranteed freedom to practice their religious beliefs. Canada land of freedom, and communal harmony; its people have for long practiced their cultures, religions and traditions without any discrimination. He said that all religious leaders and people’s are equally involved in the pleasure of their Christian brothers on the occasion of this Christmas.
Ambassador of Humanity Imam Allama Ahsan Siddiqui futher said that the Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) and the International Religious Freedom Roundtable for Pakistan {IRF Roundtable) celebrating of “Interfaith Christmas ″ with the goal of fostering interfaith harmony and cultural understanding and bridging the gap between different races, ethnicity, religions, sects, genders, generations and youth in order to increase respect tolerance, acceptance, understanding and harmony in loving country Canada. He further said that Interfaith Christmas such gestures of religious harmony and solidarity reflect the true spirit of Christmas, fostering mutual respect and understanding between different religious communities. He said that this Christmas reflects a continuing commitment from both communities to nurture multicultural harmony and strengthen bonds of respect and cooperation in the Canada.
The Chairman of Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) and the Co-Chair, the International Religious Freedom Roundtable for Pakistan {IRFRoundtable) said that on this happy occasion for all members of the Christian Community, the International Religious Freedom Roundtable for Pakistan wishes them peace, happiness, welfare and prosperity. He further said let us all spread the message of love, harmony, joy and peace, giving everyone around us the space to fulfill their lives in this world and let us respect every religion and accept each other with all our differences.
