Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan Members Canada Chaptery hosted its 13th Annual General on November 5, 2024 in Mississauga, drawing various of its members. This year’s AGM was particularly special, with a significant number of members’ families in attendance, which added a warm, community-focused atmosphere to the event.
The meeting commenced with the approval of the minutes from the previous Annual General Meeting. The members of the Chapter’s Management Committee namely Raza Toor, Kashif Khan, Usaid Siddiqui, Raheel Khan and Izz Ghanaa Ansari, then presented the annual report and financial accounts, outlining the various initiatives and events successfully conducted over the past year.
A key highlight of the evening was the celebration of members who had recently passed their CFE examination. Successful candidates, including Usaid Siddiqui, Fahad Patel, and Noman Mirza were present to receive their gifts in recognition of their achievement.
The evening was generously sponsored by Hammad Hadi of Billyard Insurance Group, Husnain Sheikh of Matchless Travels, and Raza Toor of City Scape Real Estate Ltd. Following the formal proceedings, attendees enjoyed a delicious Pakistani buffet, mingling and networking to end the night on a high note.
Overall, it was a lovely event that highlighted both professional achievements and the camaraderie within the members of Canada Chapter.
