Despite obstacles, numerous female professionals have achieved tremendous career success and may serve as role models for young women in their fields. Elisabeth Gabauer, a Vienna-based multi-award-winning adult education trainer and speaker, is one of these exemplars. Elisabeth studied Psychosociology at Sigmund Freud University and has several coaching certifications.
Through online programs, one-on-one and group coaching, seminars, workshops, and motivational speeches on female empowerment, Elisabeth has assisted numerous individuals in achieving both professional and personal success. She has trained numerous professionals in several countries, including Ireland, the UK, Paris, Germany, Austria, and Cyprus. She has also worked as a birth doula for 17 years.
Elisabeth has established herself as an advocate for female empowerment, using her platforms to encourage and uplift women all around the world. In Austria, she started the “Weiberkraft” movement. This movement is a regular gathering for women to support each other.
She is also the founder of a podcast called “Frauencouch,” which allows women to share their experiences and empower others. Moreover, she assists women in growing personally through her 12-month program, “The Female Alchemy.”
Elisabeth has received several awards, including the Women Changing the World Award in the wellness and wellbeing category in 2023 and the WCW Award for women in therapy and counselling services in 2024 & 2025. Six of the books she co-authored have been listed as bestsellers.
Elisabeth’s story suggests that struggles, failures, and pain are not obstacles to success but rather an essential part of the process that builds character, resilience, and fortitude.
One of the numerous difficulties she encountered was witnessing her mother’s depression and being unable to assist her. Despite being a young adult, she continued to see several therapists in an attempt to improve her mother’s life until she decided to commit suicide. Her mother’s illness and suffering inspired her to pursue a career in therapy.
Female role models have always been crucial to the career success of young women. A study found that 43% of women believe that having a role model at work will improve their chances of success. Therefore, Elisabeth’s outstanding career success may inspire young women to pursue a career as an adult education trainer and speaker and succeed in it.
